Prominent Foot Valve Assemblies are installed at the end of the suction line to improve priming and to protect the chemical metering pump against coarse impurities. The PVC/EPDM materials of construction are suitable for most water treatment chemicals.
Each Prominent Foot Valve Assembly consists of a ceramic weight, strainer and ball check valve. The foot valve assembly must be mounted vertically for proper function.
