The Lead Free Push-to-Connect Ball Valve quickly and easily fits onto Copper pipe, PEX, and CPVC hot and cold water pipes of the same size.
With no soldering, clamps, unions or glue required, it’s as simple as inserting the pipe into the valve where it is sealed by the pre-lubricated EPDM O-ring. Once inserted, the 316 stainless steel teeth bite down and grip the pipe. Push-Fit ball valves are rated for 250F and 200 PSI.
Push-Fit fittings are removable with a low cost demounting tool, and are reuseable.
Tectite fittings surpass rigorous mechanical and health effects performance requirements, including ASSE 1061, ANSI/NSF 61, and ANSI/NSF 14. They are also in compliance with UPC (Uniform Plumbing Code), IPC (International Plumbing Code) and National Plumbing Code of Canada.
