Description

Secchi disks are low tech tools used to measure the approximate clarity or transparency of water.

Cleanflow Secchi disks are designed for in-plant sewage treatment plant clarifier checks to determine how well your plant is working. Simply lower the disk into the clarifier, counting the markers on the string as you slowly lower the disk till you lose sight of the disk. The string is marked in 6" increments. Record the depth at which you lose sight of the disc. Use these daily measurements to determine whether your plant is operating below, at, or above benchmark clarity.

The Secchi comes complete with a disk, eye hook and a rope marked in 6" measurements. Measures clarity up to 48".
