Canadian Business Customers: PST Exemption

If you're a business located in British Columbia, Manitoba, or Saskatchewan and eligible for PST (Provincial Sales Tax) exemption, you can apply to have your Cleanflow account marked as tax-exempt.

How to Apply:

• Create a Cleanflow account at account.cleanflow.net

• Fill out the tax exemption form below

• Upload a valid copy of your PST certificate

We’ll process your request within 2 business days. Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email, and then your account will automatically reflect your exemption during checkout.

✅ Note: Taxes will apply if you're not logged in, even if approved.

For government entities exempt from GST:

If you're a GST-exempt government organization, please upload your GST exemption certificate using the same form below.

Due to platform limitations, GST cannot be removed automatically at checkout. Your certificate will be kept on file to meet tax audit regulations, but you’ll need to contact us after placing each order so we can manually process your GST refund.

For existing customers:

Already have a Cleanflow account? You’ll still need to fill out the form below and upload your PST certificate. 

Once we verify your submission, the exemption will be applied to your existing account.

First Nations Customers

Tax exemption policies for First Nations individuals vary by province and territory. For personalized guidance on your exemption eligibility, please contact us directly using our Contact Us form.

U.S. Customers: No Canadian Tax

Good news: As a Canadian company, Cleanflow does not charge U.S. state sales tax on orders shipped to the United States.

What About Duties and Fees?

If you see taxes or fees at checkout, these are U.S. import duties and tariffs collected on behalf of the U.S. government—not Canadian sales tax. Unfortunately, exemptions to tariffs do not exist.

Can I write off these duties? Many U.S. businesses can claim import duties as a business expense. We recommend consulting your accountant for guidance specific to your situation.

Processing Time and Next Steps

Once we receive your complete tax exemption request, we'll process it within 2 business days. You'll receive an email confirmation when your exemption is active.

After approval, PST exemptions apply automatically when you're logged into your account during checkout.
