Hach 193701 Tannin/Lignin Test Kit | 0 - 150 Mg/L measures tannin and lignin together as tannic acid. Two testing ranges are achievable with this test kit - 0 to 15 mg/l and 0 to 150 mg/l.

Tannin occurs naturally in surface waters as a result of decaying organic matter and causes a brown or golden tinge to the water. This discoloration can cause decreased UV transmission in treated water, thus impairing the effectiveness of UV disinfection.

Each color disc kit includes color disc, comparator box and tubes, reagents, deionized water, mixing bottle, funnel, filter papers, instructions and carrying case. There are 100 tests per kit.
 Some reagents in this kit may be considered as hazardous under certain shipping conditions. We will contact you for approval if additional shipping costs are required.
