- Insert the tubing through the back of the nut and through the nut assembly to the tube stop in the fitting body.
- Hold the tubing firmly against the tube stop, then hand-tighten the nut.
- Wrench-tighten the nut 1-1/2 to 2 additional turns.
- Retighten all nuts when the system reaches its projected operating temperature.
Installation caution: The tubing must be fully inserted into the fitting body and held against the tube stop before tightening.
- If tubing does not enter easily, loosen the nut one turn and insert it fully to the tube stop.
