Iron Pipe Size LF Brass Compression by FPT Adapter

IPS Compression X Female Pipe Thread (FPT) adapters are used with PVC pipe as well as IPS High Density Poly Pipe in applications that require an adapter to connect PVC pipe or HDPE pipe to a plumbing fitting with male pipe threads.

Iron Pipe Size (IPS) pipes and fittings are more common for 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 2" service lines. Copper tube size (CTS) pipe and fittings are often used with 3/4" and 1" service lines.  Insert stiffeners are required for all connections using flexible plastic pipe.

These Cambridge Brass Adapter Couplings meet  or exceed AWWA C800 and  NSF 61 & 372 and are 300 PSI rated.
