Is this injection valve suitable for sodium hypochlorite?
Yes. PVDF body and Polyprel® seal are the standard material combination LMI specifies for sodium hypochlorite (12% chlorine) dosing. It's also rated for sodium hydroxide, mineral acids, and most other water treatment chemicals.
Are the seals EPDM?
No. These Liquipro valves use Polyprel® seals (LMI's proprietary thermoplastic elastomer) and a ceramic ball check. EPDM is used in LMI's Roytronic series, which is a different product line.
