This chrome-plated straight supply stop valve (1/2" PEX × 3/8" compression) connects PEX water supply lines to residential and commercial plumbing fixtures. Installers use this plumbing shut-off valve to control water flow to appliances and fixtures. allowing maintenance or fixture replacement without shutting off water to the entire building.

1. Cut the PEX tubing squarely.
2. Slide the copper crimp ring or stainless clamp over the tubing.
3. Insert the 1/2" PEX inlet of the compression shut-off valve fully into the tubing.
4. Position the ring over the fitting barbs and compress using the correct calibration tool.
5. Attach the 3/8" fixture supply line to the compression outlet and tighten.
