How It Works

• Connect injection fitting: Thread the injection fitting of the chemical metering pump into the 1/2" Schedule 80 CPVC female threaded end of the Corporation Stop & Nozzle Assembly.
• Attach brass corporation stop: Thread the 3/4" or 1/2" NPT brass corporation stop into the water pipe.
• Enable easy servicing: The arrangement allows for removal of the injection fitting for maintenance without shutting off the water supply.
• Adjust PVC pipe: Use the compression fitting on the corporation stop to accurately adjust the PVC pipe.

Installation Instructions:

• Target location: Install into the underside of a horizontal pipe, within the lower 1/3 of the pipe's horizontal cross section (between 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock).
• Drill and tap point: Ensure proper placement for optimal functionality.
• Apply sealant: Use pipe thread sealant before tightening the corporation stop and fitting to 20 foot-pounds.

Removal Instructions:

• Loosen clamp screw: Gradually loosen the clamp screw using the appropriate tool. If the nozzle hasn't fully retracted, proceed to the next step.
• Adjust packjoint locknut: Slowly loosen the packjoint locknut using the proper tool.
• Final steps: Close the corporation stop, remove the safety cable at the injection check valve, and remove the nozzle.
