Magikist PJD45A PJD45B probe tips both fit the PJDX-C, but each threads onto a different tubing size.
The PJD45A fits 1/4" black de-icer tubing. The narrower tubing reaches through tighter spaces and smaller-diameter service lines where 5/16" tubing can't pass.
The PJD45B fits 5/16" red de-icer tubing. The wider bore moves more hot water per minute for faster thawing on standard service lines.
