The white light produced by these lamps allows colors to be seen. Metal Halide lamps are often used in hockey arenas, school gymnasiums and other areas where color visibility is important.
Metal Halide lamps are 120 Volt, and are available in 50watt, 70 watt, 100 watt, 150 watt with a medium base. They are also available in 250 watt and 400 watt with a mogul (large) base.
