MUNICIPEX® Water Service – REHAU's Premium SDR9 Water Line for Underground Applications
MUNICIPEX® Water Service tubing by REHAU is a high-performance, flexible, and durable solution designed for underground potable water service lines. Manufactured to CTS (Copper Tube Size) SDR9 specifications, it is ideal for connecting water mains to residential or commercial buildings. MUNICIPEX is made from PEXa (crosslinked polyethylene), offering superior chlorine resistance, freeze/thaw resilience, and pressure performance across a wide temperature range.
With coil lengths up to 1,000 ft, MUNICIPEX reduces the number of joints needed during installation—saving time and minimizing leak points. Backed by a 25-year limited warranty, this tubing meets or exceeds major North American standards for water service line applications, including AWWA C904, ASTM F876, and CSA B137.5.
