The Jackson Safety XS2-500 Class E safety helmet carries two ratings: a dielectric shell rated Class E, and a wrap-around polycarbonate visor rated ANSI Z87.1+ for high impact. The shell will not carry current, which is what dielectric means. It is not rated for arc flash or chemical splash.
