Field Adjustable Pressure Switch
The Square D pressure switch (FSG2J21) is field-adjustable. To change the setting, disconnect power to the pump and remove the switch cover. Turn the large adjustment nut clockwise to raise both cut-in and cut-out pressures, or counterclockwise to lower them. The differential between cut-in and cut-out stays constant. After adjustment, restore power and verify the operating pressures using the included gauge. Common alternative settings include 20/40 PSI and 40/60 PSI.
Built-In System Protection
The 75 PSI pressure relief valve (RVNB05-075NL) protects the system from overpressure. The valve is non-adjustable and factory-set to open at 75 PSI. If the pressure switch fails to shut off the pump, the relief valve prevents pressure from exceeding safe limits.
