Frequently Asked Questions
What certifications do Chem-Tech XPV pumps carry?
Chem-Tech XPV pumps are tested and certified by WQA against NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 and 372 for drinking water treatment. They are also ETL Listed by Intertek for electrical safety and manufactured in a Pulsafeeder ISO 9001 certified facility. All pumps ship with a 2-year limited manufacturer warranty.
What is the difference between the XPV low-pressure and high-pressure models?
Both use the same variable speed pump platform with microprocessor control, LCD display, and 100:1 turndown. The difference is tubing: low-pressure Norprene tubing handles up to 80 PSI with longer tube life and covers a wider flow range (8–100 GPD, including the XP100 model). High-pressure tubing handles up to 125 PSI but is limited to 8–55 GPD. The tubes are interchangeable.
