Jaco Kynar Compression Tube Union Tees

Jaco Kynar PVDF (Polyvinylidene Fluoride) Compression Tube Union Tees have high abrasion resistance and remarkable strength over a very broad chemical range. They have a working temperature range of -40F to 250F. PVDF has over twice the impact strength of PVC and is extremely durable under mechanical abuse.

PVDF has excellent chemical resistance against strong inorganic and organic acids, and halogenated solvents such as chlorine and bromine. Kynar is FDA compliant, absolutely non toxic and can be used in repeated contact with food products. Jaco Kynar fittings with plastic gripper have operating pressures up to 220 PSI. Jaco Kynar fittings are NSF Listed.

To Install:

1. Cut the end of the tubing squarely and remove internal and external burrs.

2. Insert the tubing through the back of the nut all the way through the nut assembly to the tube stop in the fitting body.

3. While holding the tubing firmly against the tube stop, hand tighten the nut.

4. Wrench tighten the nut 1-1/2 to 2 additional turns.

5. All nuts must be retightened when the system reaches projected operating temperature.
