Waterite Vectamaxx RSL2400 Commercial Reverse Osmosis SystemWaterite Vectamaxx RSL2400 Commercial Reverse Osmosis System
Description

Reverse osmosis is the workhorse of point-of-use water purification. It removes the dissolved solids, chlorine, lead, and contaminants that mechanical filtration alone can't catch. Waterite's Vectapure and Vectamaxx lines cover the full range: under-counter drinking water systems for homes and offices, light-commercial high-output RO, and full commercial systems for food service, manufacturing, and equipment feed water.

Cleanflow stocks Waterite reverse osmosis systems and the matching replacement cartridges, membranes, and accessories, same OEM components, same compatibility, with parts in stock for fast turnaround.

Choose Your Waterite Reverse Osmosis System

Sort by where the system goes and how much purified water you need per day.

Under-Counter Drinking Water RO Systems

Mounted under the kitchen sink. Output goes to a dedicated Chrome faucet. Sized for household drinking, cooking, and ice-maker feed.

Two-Stage Filtration and Tankless Ultrafiltration

Not full RO, but sometimes the right call. Two-stage filtration removes chlorine, sediment, and taste/odor. Ultrafiltration goes further and removes particles down to 0.1 micron without RO's wastewater output.

Light-Commercial and High-Output RO

Bridges residential and full commercial. Higher daily output, larger pre-filtration, and more pressure capacity. Good for cafes, small offices, or whole-house RO.

  • Vectapure RSX II Lite — 800 GPD output, dual 400 GPD Black Max membranes, energy-saving design, includes Big Blue pre-filter.

Commercial Reverse Osmosis Systems

Skid-mounted or framed commercial systems with stainless construction, pre-filtration, drive pumps, and instrumentation. For food and beverage, manufacturing, equipment, feed water, and any application where you need clean water on demand.

Waterite Reverse Osmosis Filters and Replacement Cartridges

Most RO maintenance is straightforward: pre-filters every 6–12 months, post-carbon yearly, and RO membrane every 2–3 years. Cleanflow stocks the matching cartridges for the Vectapure 360 line and full service kits for NX systems.

Vectapure 360 Replacement Cartridges

Color-coded for foolproof swaps, match the cap colour to the slot in your manifold.

Accessories and System Add-Ons

How to Choose the Right Waterite RO System

Household drinking water (single sink, kitchen)

The Vectapure 360 Four-Stage or the Vectapure NX is the standard pick. Both deliver 75 GPD, more than enough for a family of four for drinking, cooking, and ice. Choose Vectapure NX if you want manifold-style cartridge changes (twist out, push in); choose Vectapure 360 for the color-coded cartridge system and integrated leak detector.

Heavy household use, ice maker, or small office

The Vectapure 400NX delivers 400 GPD, over five times the standard residential output. The high-purity pressure tank means you don't run out during back-to-back use, and the manifold-style cartridges keep maintenance fast.

Whole-house RO or light-commercial

The Vectapure RSX II Lite at 800 GPD is the bridge between residential and commercial. Dual 400 GPD Black Max membranes, energy-saving design, and a Big Blue pre-filter for sediment-heavy feed water. Good fit for cafes, small clinics, dental offices, or whole-house drinking water.

Commercial food service, manufacturing, equipment feed

The Vectapure RSX II Commercial (350 or 700 GPD) handles smaller commercial loads with stainless housings and dual Big Blue pre-filtration. For higher volume, the Vectamaxx RSL2400 and RSR2400 deliver up to 2400 GPD with stainless construction, microprocessor controllers, and auto-flush. Pick RSL2400 for food and beverage; pick RSR2400 if you want quieter multi-stage pump operation and dual TDS metering.

Tankless or zero-waste alternative

If you don't want a pressure tank under the sink, or if RO's reject water flow concerns you, the Vectapure 360 Triple-Stage Ultra-Filtration system is the alternative. UF removes chlorine, lead, and particles down to 0.1 micron without producing wastewater. It won't reduce dissolved minerals the way RO does, that's the trade-off.

Low feed pressure, well water, or high TDS

Add the Vectapure Booster Pump Kit to any compatible system. It increases production rate by 20–40% and stabilizes the production-to-waste ratio. Worth it for basement installs and well-water sites where line pressure runs 30–40 PSI.

Reverse Osmosis vs. Ultrafiltration — Quick Reference

Reverse Osmosis (RO) Ultrafiltration (UF)
Removes Dissolved solids, lead, fluoride, chlorine, sediment Chlorine, lead, sediment, bacteria/cysts (does not reduce TDS)
Membrane size 0.0001 micron 0.025–0.1 micron
Wastewater Yes — 3:1 to 4:1 reject-to-permeate None — zero waste
Storage tank Required (pressure tank) Not required
Best for Drinking water where TDS reduction matters Pre-treatment, or where rejected water isn't acceptable

What does a Waterite reverse osmosis system actually remove?

Reverse osmosis pushes feed water through a semi-permeable membrane that blocks dissolved solids, lead, fluoride, chlorine byproducts, sodium, nitrates, and most pathogens. The Vectapure systems also include pre-filtration (sediment + carbon block) before the membrane and a polishing carbon post-filter, which together produce noticeably better-tasting water than mechanical filtration alone.

How long do Waterite RO filters last?

Pre-filters (sediment, carbon block) typically last 6–12 months, depending on feed water quality. The RO membrane lasts 2–3 years on city water, less on hard well water. The polishing post-carbon usually goes annually. The Vectapure 360 line has a leak detector, but it's worth a visual check every 3–4 months. Slow leaks behind a cabinet can cause damage.

What is the GPD rating, and how much do I really need?

GPD = gallons per day at ideal conditions (77°F feed, 60 PSI). Real-world output is usually 50–70% of rated GPD. A 75 GPD system handles a family of 4 with normal drinking, cooking, and ice use. Step up to 400 GPD for heavy use, an ice machine, or a small office. Commercial 800–2400 GPD systems are sized for continuous demand.

Are Waterite RO systems good for well water?

Yes, with caveats. Well water often has higher TDS, more sediment, and lower line pressure than municipal water. Use a Big Blue sediment pre-filter ahead of the RO system, add a Vectapure Booster Pump Kit if pressure drops below 40 PSI, and plan on replacing the RO membrane more often than you would on city water. Test for hardness and iron before committing to RO doesn't remove iron well, and a softener may be needed upstream.

Do I need a booster pump?

Only if your feed water pressure is below 40 PSI, you have a long pipe run from the main, you're at high elevation, or you're on a well with a small pressure tank. The booster increases output 20–40% and keeps the production-to-waste ratio stable. If your feed pressure is 50+ PSI, you don't need one.

Can I install a Waterite RO system myself?

Most under-counter systems ship with everything needed for a DIY install: a 1/4" feed water saddle valve, drain saddle, faucet hardware, and tubing. Plan on 2–3 hours for a first-time install. Commercial systems should be installed by a qualified plumber or water-treatment technician. Cleanflow ships across Canada and the USA. Call us if you need help confirming compatibility before ordering.
