Overview
The Franklin 40" x 2.5" OD FWPS Series Spun Poly Filter Cartridge is the longest standard cartridge in the FWPS series, built for high-flow commercial and industrial water treatment systems where filter change downtime needs to be minimized. The extended length holds more sediment per cartridge than the 10" or 20" versions, which extends service intervals and reduces maintenance frequency in continuous-operation systems.
Constructed from 100% melt blown micro-denier polypropylene using thermal bonding with no adhesives or binders. Three-layer gradient density captures coarse particles on the outer surface and finer sediment toward the center. NSF 42 and FDA CFR Title 21 certified. Three micron ratings: 1, 5, and 20. Sold individually or in cases of 20.
