CSA Certified Fall Protection from a Canadian Brand

Workers entering manholes, tanks, and vaults need fall arrest that holds up on sharp edges, plus rescue gear that deploys fast when something goes wrong. Peakworks is a Canadian fall protection brand owned by Surewerx that specializes in leading-edge self-retracting lifelines, confined space tripod kits, harnesses, and lanyards. All Peakworks safety equipment carries CSA, ANSI, and OSHA certification.

Cleanflow Utility Supply Company stocks Peakworks safety equipment across four product categories: confined space entry kits, leading edge SRLs, lanyards and connectors, and harnesses with accessories. Every product ships from our Winnipeg warehouse across Canada and the USA.

What's in Stock

Below is a breakdown of the Peakworks safety equipment available through Cleanflow, organized by the hazard each category covers.

Confined Space Tripod Kits

Peakworks confined space kits pair the TR-100 aluminum tripod with a man winch, a self-retracting lifeline, or both. The TR-100 has adjustable locking legs, non-slip rubber feet, a safety chain, and a built-in pulley mounted above the head assembly. That above-the-head pulley places the wire rope directly over the center of the tripod, giving operators better balance and more headroom than below-the-head designs.

Two kits are available from Cleanflow:

The Peakworks CSK2-65 Confined Space Tripod Kit pairs the TR-100 tripod with a 65-foot (20 m) MW-65G man winch and a carrying bag. The winch uses galvanized wire rope with a swivel hook and supports up to 310 lb (141 kg) combined weight of person, tools, and clothing. This Peakworks confined space kit handles rescue and retrieval but does not include fall arrest. If your entry program requires continuous fall protection during entry and exit, the CSK3-60 is the better fit.

The Peakworks CSK3-60 Confined Space Tripod Kit adds a 60-foot (18 m) 3-way self-retracting lifeline to the same TR-100 tripod and MW-65G winch. The SRL provides continuous fall arrest while the worker moves inside the space, and the winch handles emergency retrieval. This is the complete kit for operations that need both fall protection and rescue in one package.

Both kits meet or exceed CSA Z259.15, ANSI Z359.18, and OSHA requirements. Operating temperature range: −35°C to +35°C.

Self-Retracting Lifelines

Peakworks self-retracting lifelines focus on leading edge applications where the lifeline contacts sharp surfaces during a fall. A standard SRL can fail in this scenario because the cable or webbing gets cut on a steel beam or concrete edge. A Peakworks leading edge SRL is tested to maintain full arrest force even after edge contact, meeting the CSA Z259.2.2 standard for leading edge use.

Cleanflow carries single-leg and twin-leg Peakworks leading edge SRLs, cable SRLs with recovery handles for confined space retrieval, and an 18-foot leading edge model for close-quarters work. The twin leg versions allow the worker to maintain one connection while moving to a new anchor point, keeping continuous protection across the work area. All units use aluminum housings and include snap hooks or form hooks depending on the model.

Lanyards, Carabiners, and Vertical Lifelines

Peakworks harness and lanyard accessories connect the worker to the anchor system. Cleanflow carries shock-absorbing lanyards with snap hooks (twin leg, 4-foot length), a tool tether wrist lanyard for preventing dropped objects at height, and twist lock fall protection carabiners rated to 5,000 lb (22 kN) with auto-locking gates that meet CSA, ANSI, and CE standards. Polysteel vertical lifelines in 5/16-inch diameter are available in lengths from 25 to 200 feet for rope grab systems.

Harness and Accessories

The Peakworks Contractor Harness with Positioning Belt fits sizes S through 2X-Large and includes a back D-ring for fall arrest and side D-rings for work positioning. A confined space yoke is also available for the TR-100 tripod and winch systems platform, adding a secondary mounting option for rescue setups. Both products are CSA certified fall protection equipment.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a leading edge self-retracting lifeline?

A leading edge SRL is tested to arrest a fall even when the lifeline contacts a sharp surface like a steel beam or concrete edge during the event. Standard SRLs are not tested for this and can fail if the cable or webbing gets cut mid-fall. Peakworks leading edge SRLs meet CSA Z259.2.2 for this application.

How do I choose a confined space tripod kit?

Start with what your entry program requires. If you need rescue retrieval only and already have a separate fall arrest system, the CSK2-65 with the 65-foot man winch covers that. If you need both continuous fall protection and rescue capability from one system, the CSK3-60 includes the SRL and the winch together.

Is Peakworks CSA certified?

Yes. All Peakworks fall protection products meet or exceed CSA standards. Confined space kits meet CSA Z259.15. Self-retracting lifelines meet CSA Z259.2.2. This Peakworks safety equipment is compliant for both Canadian and U.S. worksites.

What equipment is required for confined space entry?

A compliant confined space entry program typically requires atmospheric monitoring (gas detection), ventilation, a tripod or davit arm for retrieval, a full body harness, a self-retracting lifeline or retrieval line, and communication equipment. Cleanflow carries confined space monitors and ventilation equipment alongside Peakworks fall protection.

How does Peakworks compare to Dynamic for fall protection?

Both Peakworks and Dynamic sell fall protection equipment through Cleanflow, including confined space tripods, winches, and harnesses. Peakworks focuses on leading edge SRL technology and integrated confined space kits with the TR-100 tripod platform. Dynamic offers individual components like standalone tripod winches and harnesses. Choose Peakworks if you want a complete kit; choose Dynamic if you are assembling a custom setup from separate parts.
