The Franklin 20" x 4.5" OD FWPS Series Spun Poly Filter Cartridge delivers high-efficiency sediment filtration for demanding residential, commercial, and industrial water treatment applications. Manufactured from thermally fused polypropylene fibers, this cartridge provides reliable particulate reduction without the use of adhesives, binders, or surfactants.
Its multi-density three-layer construction captures larger contaminants near the outer surface while finer inner fibers trap smaller particles deeper inside the cartridge. This graduated density structure improves filtration efficiency, increases contaminant-holding capacity, and extends cartridge service life.
The extended 20" Big Blue configuration offers higher flow performance and longer operating cycles, making it ideal for systems with elevated water demand or higher sediment loads.
