The Franklin Water Treatment FWGC20B is a 20-inch Big Blue granular activated carbon (GAC) filter cartridge engineered for high-flow residential, commercial, and light industrial water filtration systems. Designed to fit standard 4.5" × 20" Big Blue housings, this premium activated carbon cartridge effectively reduces chlorine, objectionable tastes and odours, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), herbicides, pesticides, turbidity, and chlorine by-products to deliver cleaner, fresher tasting water.
Its oversized carbon bed provides exceptional filtration capacity while maintaining excellent flow rates. Water enters one end of the cartridge and passes through the full length of the activated carbon media before exiting the opposite end, maximizing contaminant removal. An internal expansion pad minimizes channeling and bypass for consistent filtration performance throughout the cartridge's service life.
